Once upon a summer’s morn

we traveled far, so very far,

in silent search of shining stars

and dreams unborn

Once upon a summer’s day

we picked mystic blue berries,

and wanton wild cherries

along the way

Once upon a summer’s eve

we walked a windswept beach,

where fearful lessons teach

us how to grieve

Once upon a summer’s night

we slept together all alone,

while sadness crept into our bones

in overweening fright

harry tarry oh so scary

life strife oh so rife

damn plan such a sham

wham bam no thank you ma’am

groan alone a sorry tone

going gone hate this song
